Army Worms

As of today July 20, 2016 we have had our first call about Army Worms.  It has been extremely HOT recently and they thrive under those conditions.  Some of you may remember our last outbreak of Army Worms was in 2014, and caused damage throughout this area. Take a moment and check your lawn or if you notice bare spots that are not normally there go and check it out.  You will be looking at the bottom of the blade and as they eat the grass they will move up the blade and continue to move to all areas of your lawn.  Without treatment the worms will destroy your lawn.  Attached are some picture showing the worm as well as the damage they can cause.  Should you notice activity in your lawn please give us a call at 627-0688 or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
